What does my membership include?
Around the 15th of every OTHER month you will receive pattern, enough yarn to make a pair of socks, and a newsletter highlighting the techniques we’re perfecting. We may also enclose other suprises and goodies! We’re working with some of the most interesting yarn vendors to bring exclusive yarns and colorways available only to sock club members. Some shipments will include yarn and tools, and some just yarn . Some shipments the yarn will average over the retail, others will be slightly under. Our goals is to make sure that over the 3 shipments you receive great value for your money. You can also order earlier months based on availability.
How Do I join?
You can purchase a three month membership online, over the phone or in person. Your membership will start with the next month availalble for shipping. For 2008, we’re shipping in January, March, May, July, September, and November. How much does it cost?
Membership is $66.00 per 3 shipments ($22.00 per kit). You may opt to come in and pick up your kit. If you would like your kit delivered directly to you, shipping is only $5.00 per shipment. We will bill your account $15.00 (3 kits shipping) when you sign up. We will contact you to renew your membership or you may go to our site to reorder. You may cancel at the end of any 3 shipment period. No partial refunds will be given. What kind of support can I expect if I have a problem?
We’re open 6 days a week and are happy to answer any questions AND we have a Sock Knitting Group that meets every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30. Do I have to come to the Thursday group?
Not at all, we can supply you with everything you need to finish the project yourself. In fact you don’t even need to live in the area to participate. When can I start?
You can start any time, the inaugural pattern will be available June 15, 2007.What vendors might I see in my shipments?
We’re so excited to offer sock yarn vendors that have unique offerings. Some of these vendors have agreed to do exclusive colorways just for our sock club members. Here’s a only partial list of vendors who already working with us:·

What type of techniques may be highlighted?
Each kit we’ll highlight different techniques to stretch your knitting and some that are just plain fun! Here’s a partial list of techniques that we’ll cover:
- Top-down construction
- Toe-up construction
- Cast ons (provisional, tubular, figure 8, Bosnian square toe and more)
- Cuff treatments (Latvian twist, picot, lace, intarsia and more)
- Heels (short row, reinforced, flap and gusset, afterthought and more)
Does membership count towards my 200 club total?
YES! As you spend with us and reach 200 points (each dollar spent equals 1 point and we keep track for you) – you’ll receive a $10 off coupon good on your next purchase. Coupon must be submitted for redemption.
